Experience two future Californias.

This installation plays off of the roadside historical marker signs many of us drive by on California roads but places the viewer at different points in the future and on two divergent paths - one where we take measures to mitigate and adapt to a changing climate and one where we do nothing.

Collaborating with climate scientists at The Nature Conservancy, the installation features 24 signs that depict realistic projections of what is possible. Seeing a date in the future that one an imagine themself in brings the seemingly looming climate crisis into focus in the here and now.

Damn. This is fucking effective and I hate it.
